Estimate whether better follow-up could pay for itself.

Four numbers you know better than anyone — eligible missed enquiries, how many more of them you'd win with a prompt reply, what a job leaves you, and the fee. The result is contribution after the fee, with a break-even, not a revenue claim.

Your assumptions

Nothing is prefilled. Blank means blank — the estimate is only as honest as the numbers you put in.

Calls from would-be customers that nobody answered. Not spam, not repeat callers, not existing customers.

Percentage points of those enquiries that become jobs only because the follow-up improved.

Optional. Leave blank for a single figure instead of a range.

What a typical job leaves after materials, subcontractors and crew time — not the invoice total.

Your expected usage bill. The example uses 10 paid conversations after the one-time free allowance.

Runs on this page. No e-mail, no account, nothing stored.

How the estimate is built

Additional jobs
eligible missed new enquiries × additional conversion attributable to better follow-up
Incremental contribution
additional jobs × contribution per job
Break-even
fee ÷ contribution per job — the additional jobs a month that cover the fee

What’s excluded from “eligible”

  • Spam and robocallsThey were never going to be a job.
  • Repeat callersThe same person calling twice is one enquiry, not two.
  • Existing customersThey know how to reach you and usually do.
  • Work that would have converted anywayIf they'd have called back or left a voicemail, better follow-up did not create that job — it only made it easier.

Contribution, not revenue

Revenue is the invoice. Contribution is what is left after materials, subcontractors and crew time. A CA$4,000 fence job with CA$3,200 of costs contributes CA$800 — that is the number that covers your usage bill. Use it, not the invoice, or the estimate flatters you.

Questions about the numbers

Why no industry averages?
Because a default that makes every visitor look like they lose thousands a month is a sales trick, not an estimate. Your own call log for the last month is a better source than any benchmark — count the new-customer calls nobody answered and start there.
What is a reasonable additional conversion?
Unknown until you measure it on your own line. It is the share of missed enquiries you win only because the follow-up got better — not your overall close rate. Enter a low and a high estimate and treat the range as the honest answer.
How do I estimate the usage fee?
Enter your expected monthly usage bill. Only engaged customer conversations count; a missed call alone does not. The free allowance applies once per verified business, not each month. Exact usage terms.
Is anything stored or sent?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. There is no e-mail gate and nothing is saved; copy the summary if you want to keep it.
